Relays a message from Mr. White, that the work Sir Thrope asked after is probably the Transit of Venus as observed by Mason and  Dixon at the Cape in 1761. States that any further pursual of this enquiry will be difficult as the archives are currently locked in the cellar for the period of war. </dc:description>
