Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [Frederick William] Gamble, FRS 'Dear Sir, In reply to your letter of yesterday, I have a record showing that an acknowledgement of the receipt of Dr. Goodey's paper was sent to you on March 16. The author himself called here a few days after that date and was told that an acknowledgement had been sent to you. The paper is still under consideration by a Sectional Committee, and I will let you know so soon as a decision is arrived at with regard to it's acceptance.' 2 May 1916
