Copy letter from [Joseph John] Thomson, President of the Royal Society and FRS; to Mrs. [Jeane] Judd 'Dear Madam, The Council at their last meeting received with great regret the news of the death of their distinguished colleague Professor Judd, and they have desired me to express their deep sense of the loss which the society has sustained, and of the eminent services which Professor Judd rendered to Science.
