Merton, SW 'Dear Hall, The Physiological War Committee has drawn up two reports which have been used by the Government, on the food supply in Germany. The Committee yesterday considered the question of the advisability of issuing to the press a report on the food economy in war time. It was decided to leave the matter, in the first instance, to a Sub-Committee. The members are - Professor Hopkins Professor [T] B. Wood Professor Waller Professor Ashley (Professor of Commerce at Birmingham) Waller says he will motor over to see you on Sunday, and have a chat on the subject.' 10 March 1916
