Howorth Esquire's previous letter, containing a list of the Committee which drew up the memorandum on the question of a Geodetic Institute. Notes that in it, the Society's Fellow, H. [Henry] G. [George] Lyons is referred to as Colonel Lyons. Asks Mr. Howorth if this is correct as the Society are still addressing him as Major Lyons. 30 May 1917
