Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to the Director of the Bute Laboratory and Museum Informs the Director that their application for a grant of Challenger Reports is under consideration by a Committee. Explains the Committee are having difficulty in making a definite recommendation on the subject in the absence of information as to whether the Bute Museum is in possession of a permanent endowment. Notes that if the Director could satisfy the Committee on this point it would assist them in their decision making. 11 July 1917
