  <dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to F. J. Maclean Esquire;
The Ministry of Information</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Informs F. J. Maclean Esquire that his request that the Society help the Ministry of Information with the Natural Science section of their 'select biography of works representative of British Learning and Culture' has been laid before the appropriate authorities. In the mean time, draws Mr. Maclean's attention to the various bibliographical undertakings of the Society which may be of use to him. Also notes that the Society deals in the main with pure science, and suggests for applied and technical science Mr. Maclean would need to apply to Technical Societies.</dc:description>
