Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [Henry Edward] Armstrong, FRS Informs Professor [Henry Edward] Armstrong that at their last meeting the Council considered a report from a Committee on International Organisation in Chemistry which recommended that: 'the Federal Council for Pure and Applied Chemistry be requested to act provisionally as the National Research Council in Chemistry'.
