Copy letter from Sir William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [Karl] Pearson, FRS Advises that both of the referees have recommended publication for Mr Usher's paper, but not the reproduction of the figures. One believes no illustration is neccessary, and the other recommends non-colour figures A and B. He encloses a copy of their comments and asks Professor [Karl] Pearson, FRS, to consider them and give his response. Advises the considerable cost of the illustrations was mentioned to the referees. 28 November 1919
