Copy letter from Sir William Bate Hardy, FRS, Secretary of the Royal Society; to H [Harold William Taylor ] Wager Esq, FRS Advises he is sending H [Harold William Taylor ] Wager Esq, FRS, a paper authored by Colonel Rawson and communicated by Professor [Benjamin] Moore, FRS, on the 'Inheritance of acquired characters.' The subject is very controversial , and Moore has followed the experiments and is convinced Colonel Rawson has enough evidence for his contention. Moore would like the Committee to see the specimens before making a decision on the paper. 12 February 1920
