<dc:description>Asks Sir George Barstow for advice on the matter of the Grant for International Research. Explains that the Council are happy to accept the offer of the Treasury, on the grounds that the subscription to the Agriculture Institute of Rome and the subscription to the Metric Government be excluded. Asks Sir Barstow if he thinks there is likely to be an objection to this. Also asks if he thinks the Government are likely to continue to pay for Incidental expenses. </dc:description>
