Copy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir [Alfred] Daniel Hall, FRS Informs Sir [Alfred] Daniel Hall that the Chief Chemist of the London Hygenic Chemical Co. has applied to the President of the Society for his signature to an application for a license to perform experiments on rodents, birds, cats and dogs by the 'administration of chemical substances by feeding'. Suggests that the chief Veterinary Officer to the Ministry might be a better candidate to deal with this, and asks for Sir Hall's opinion. 21 April 1920
