Darnley that the Council recently considered the report of the Interdepartmental Committee on Research and Development in the Dependencies of the Falkland Islands. Explains that they consider its proposals of great scientific importance and the economic results of great significance, however, they feel that the staff of the proposed expedition would benefit from the the addition of a botanist. 20 July 1920
