Copy letter from Edwin Deller, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to [George Fiddes,] the Under Secretary of State; the Colonial Office Refers to the proposal to establish Research Studentships in the Malay States. Suggests some ammendments to the proposal, namely: that the the Studentships should be tenable for longer than one year only, that Schools of Tropical Medicine in Great Britain nominate students and the Medical Research Council make the final selection, and that students in other subjects be nominated by other Universities and Centres of Research. 25 October 1920
