Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mrs Arthur Gamgee, Hotel Pensin[?] Roth, Clarens, Montreux, Switzerland Gamgee's note enclosing a cheque is to hand. It need not however have been sent as Dr Gamgee's name was added some time since to a private list of Fellows whose annual contributions are paid from a fund founded for the purpose by Lord Armstrong [John William Strutt]. If Mrs Gamgee will let Rix know if she is still at the address from which she wrote, Rix will return the cheque. 17 October 1892
