<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to D J Williams, Dyreham, Bushey, Herts</dc:title>
<dc:description>Williams' note gives them such short notice that Rix is sorry to say he is not able to comply with the request. Rix is not permitted to allow any picture to leave the house without the permission of his chiefs. Thursday afternoon is also an impossible time as this is when the meeting of the Society occurs. Rix will submit the request to his chiefs and does not doubt they will be pleased to meet Professor Herkomer's wishes. The picture is hung and they have no one on the premises able to take it down. </dc:description>
