Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to J Taylor, Office of Works, 12 Whitehall Place The Treasurer [John Evans] desires Rix to write to inform Taylor that Mr Street, or his clerk, declines to execute repairs to the Society's front door. The Treasurer cannot think that doors and windows stand on a different footing and the door has previously been repaired before by the Board of Works. Rix asks to know Taylor's decision as the matter is one that cannot be neglected for long. 12 April 1892
