<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Captain [William de Wiveleslie] Abney, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Encloses a cheque for £60 from the Council Fund of the Government Grant for the Colour Vision Committee and asks for return of the accompanying form [not attached]. Rix recently sent on a letter from Admiralty, he has no reports to send them. A letter comes from the Board of Trade today asking for six reports; Rix only has two of them in house. Rix hopes Abney ordered the plates for the new hundred, Rix ordered the text on the same day that he received Abney's instruction.</dc:description>
