<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor William Edward Ayrton</dc:title>
<dc:description>They are sending to Ayrton Lord Armstrong's paper and if he could report upon it next Thursday they could proceed with the publication, supposing is to be published, as Armstrong has been writing urgently about it. Armstrong intends the paper for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' and the figures have been drawn to suit it. The figures would cost £50 and Ayrton's report should say whether it is recommended that they should be done. The Treasurer, John Evans, desired this point to be submitted to the referees.</dc:description>
