Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Charles Baron Clarke, Fellow of the Royal Society The Royal Society has decided to ask Stanford to give an estimate for his plates. Rix asks Clarke to call upon Stanford in Cockspur Street to explain precisely what he wishes done in the way of reproduction.
