<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr Stanford, 26 Cockspur Street, S.W.</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix has written to Mr Clarke, to ask him to call upon Stanford about the two maps which are to illustrate Clarke's memoir. When Stanford has seen Clarke, Rix asks for an estimate to include cost of paper, lettering, use of stones, headline, and all other items. Encloses a specimen of the paper which the Royal Society use and asks them to match the tint as closely as possible. If there is any difficulty Stanford can obtain a supply from Messrs West, Newman & Company who do most of the Society's lithography. Asks that the headline style is imitated so as to maintain uniformity of appearance throughout the volume. </dc:description>
