<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Royal Society contemplate at Drake & Gorham's suggestion changing to brass collar lamps which will save them fourpence halfpenny on each. The change will necessitate the Royal Society having new holders at a cost of £14 for the 140. The saving on the lamps will soon pay for the outlay. Rix asks to know whether he is to follow Drake & Gorham's advise. </dc:description>
