In that case the application must wait for a meeting of the Library Committee, which will not occur for a few months. The Royal Society's books show that numbers 271-280 went to the Library on 23 August 1889, through the Agent-General in the same parcel with the volumes of 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' for 1888. 27 September 1892
