Copy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to 'Anderson' Informs [Mr.] Anderson that [William Hyde] Wollaston was President of the Society, however, his term was very short. Explains that this was because [Joseph] Banks put him there against his wish, however, that he consented to act as President until the normal date of election [November 30th] was reached and Humphry Davy could be officially elected. 8 January 1921
