Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [John Cunningham] McLennan, FRS Informs Professor [John Cunningham] McLennan that the revised paper by Kingdon, 'Low voltage ionization in mercury vapours' has been treated as a new paper, however, the relevant Committee object in the same manner as to the original paper regarding 'the value of the e/m for mercury'. Notes that the Committee regard this criticism as vital and cannot reccomend the paper for publication unless it is met by the author. 27 January 1921
