<dc:title>Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [William Whitehead] Watts, FRS</dc:title>
<dc:description>Writes on the subject of the Conjoint Board Memorandum for Government Aid. Notes that they ought to have all the papers on this readied prior to the Officers Meeting on the 21st and the Council Meeting on the 28th. Explains that he has the Memorandum itself, alongside the Appendices giving particulars of the applications received from the different Societies, and asks Professor [William Whithead] Watts if he is happy that these are ciruclated around the Officers and Council. Suggests circulating a covering letter alongside these that states exactly what the Society is expected to do in the matter. </dc:description>
