<dc:title>Copy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to [Charles Thomas] Heycock, Chairman of the Chemistry Committee and FRS</dc:title>
<dc:description>Informs Mr. [Charles Thomas] Heycock that they have received a paper by A. R. Ling and D. R. Nanji, 'The action of ammonia and of amino-compounds on reducing sugars. I'. Notes that it is estimated to print to thirteen pages of the 'Proceedings' and asks Mr. Heycock if he would like it to go to a referee. Also reminds him of Mr. [James Hopwood] Jeans' letter of November 10th, in which he asked Mr. Heycock to nominate a referee for the Barratt & Lewis paper and asked whether he agreed to passing the paper by Professor [William Arthur] Bone, Pearson, Sinkinson & Stockings under Standing Order 43. </dc:description>
