<dc:title>Copy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. [Frederick William] Edridge-Green</dc:title>
<dc:description>Informs Dr. [Frederick William] Edridge-Green that his paper was read by a physiologist, who concluded that there might be a fallacy on the physical side, and then passed onto a physicist, who reported in the manner communicated to Professor [Ernest Henry] Starling. Notes that he is writing to this physicist to see whether he would be willing to discuss his comments with Dr. Edridge-Green, however, that he is a very busy man. Disputes Dr. Edridge-Green's statement that the Society caused him to lose the appointment of adviser to the Board of Trade. </dc:description>
