<dc:title>Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to the Lord Rayleigh [Robert John Strutt], Chairman of the Physics Committee and FRS</dc:title>
<dc:description>Informs the Lord Rayleigh that Ernest Wilson's paper and N. K. Adam's two papers were reported on favourably and asks if they can be passed under Standing Order 43. Notes that W. G. Duffield has sent in a rehashed version of his previous paper, which was not recommended for publication, and asks him to recommend a referee other than [Hugh Longbourne] Callendar for it. Also informs him of three new papers that they have received, one by [Harold Albert] Wilson, 'On the scattering of ß rays', one by C. G. Schonebook, 'Diffusion and interaction', and one by E. A. Milne, 'Radiative equilibrium'. Asks what should be done in the case of each. </dc:description>
