<dc:title>Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Lord Rayleigh [Robert John Strutt], FRS</dc:title>
<dc:description>Asks whether Lord Rayleigh [Robert John Strutt] agrees to print L. C. Jackson and [Heike] Kamerlingh Onnes' paper 'The Magnetic Properties of Some Paramagnetic Double Sulphates at Low Temperatures' in the Proceedings. Following a very unfavourable report from [Frederick George] Donnan on W. Galloway's paper 'Capillary Action', asks if Rayleigh agrees that the paper should be withdrawn, and laments that [Aubrey] Strahan communicated it to begin with. Informs Rayleigh of [Owen Willans] Richardson's favourable report on [John H.] Shaxby's paper 'Studies in Brownian Movement', and asks if Rayleigh agrees to publishing it in the Proceedings. Finally, asks if Rayleigh agrees to publish William [Henry] Bragg and Professor [Gilbert Thomas] Morgan's paper 'Crystal Structure and Chemical Constitution of Basic Beryllium Acetate and Propionate'.</dc:description>
