<dc:title>Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to to Prof. [Arthur William] Crossley, FRS</dc:title>
<dc:description>Updates Arthur Crossley on 3 papers. 1. Informs that [James William] McBain has reported favourably on the paper 'The destruction of rennin by agitation' by [Eric Keightley] Rideal and C.G.L [F.] Wolf[-Oberhollenzer] and that it has been passed for publication as previously agreed. 2. Asks for a referee suggestion for the paper 'The catalytic action of copper. Part IV' by [William George] Palmer and [F. Hurn] Constable, communicated by [William Jackson] Pope. Suggests [George Gerald] Henderson as the last paper in the series went to him, or to publish it immediately as Pope is careful of the papers he communicates. 3. Asks for a referee suggestion for the paper 'A discontinuity in the dehydration of certain salt hydrates' by [Edward Mortimer] Crowther and [John Reginald Horder] Coutts, communicated by Sir John Russell. Suggest this paper be carefully reported as it contradicts the findings of a previous paper by [William A.] Davis and [J. Vargas] Eyre, [The discontinuity of the hydration process], and could cause discussion.</dc:description>
