Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Colonel [Henry George] Lyons, FRS Gives a list of potential dates for the meeting of the National Committee for Geodesy and Geophysics and asks Lyons to confirm one with Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary. Also states that paying the expenses for all delegates to go to Madrid will be too great, (£25 each to cover 1st class sleeper carriage returns and hotels), unless they cannot have expenses paid by the departments and if the Royal Society feel they are suitable.
