Copy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Ray Lankester, K.C.B, FRS Replies that Hardy cannot tell Sir Ray Lankester when he was taken off the Tropical Diseases Committee without consulting the papers. Explains rule by the Council to remove 1/6 of the Committee members annually, and as the least attendence could not be used for selection, the longest serving was used as a criteria, apologises and states Lankester will be reinstated at the earliest opportunity if he wishes. 17 June 1924
