Copy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Prof. [James Peter] Hill, FRS Apologises for the wrong illustrations being handed over to Prof. Hill's messenger, as the letter appeared to ask for the illustrations in [Reginald James] Ludford's paper. States that having reread the letter it became clear that it was Lindsay Johnsons' illustrations that were needed for reproduction. Mentions that 'they are most excellently drawn' and should be reproduced. 29 July 1924
