<dc:title>Copy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Hugh [Kerr] Anderson, FRS</dc:title>
<dc:description>Asks for Sir Hugh Anderson's opinion on the paper by [John Irvine] Hunter (of the University of Sydney) ['The function of the double innervation - Somatic and Sympathetic - of the muscles of the bird's wing during flight'] as soon as possible, as Hunter is in this country and there is strong pressure to get him to demonstrate the facts. Suggests, if Anderson is very busy, he contact [Edgar Douglas] Adrian, who has also read and reported on the paper. Informs Anderson that there is great excitement about the paper, and interest from both America and the Continent.</dc:description>
