Explains that the late Peter Mackie made monetary gifts to the Royal Society, which were used to fund Anthropological investigations, but that the investigations have been concluded and there is an unexpended balance of £43 2s 6d left over; Mackie's executors have said that the money could be given to a London charity, and so with pleasure the money will be given to the King Edward VII Hospital Fund.
