Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr [Alexander] Russell, FRS Informs Dr [Alfred] Russell that three referees have reported on his paper 'The Electrostatic Capacities of two Spheres and of two Parallel Cylinders' - one referee was in favour of publishing the paper, but two were against, saying that it 'does not add anything of value'. Suggests that there is little likelihood of the paper being published and asks if Russell wishes to withdraw it. 2 April 1925
