<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>The six sheets of photographs which Lankester sends herewith [not attached] accompanied a paper by Messrs [Rubert William] Boyce and [A Ernest] Evans, on the action of gravity upon Bacterium Zopfiii. The Committee of papers resolved that Lankester should be asked to make a selection from these illustrations, with a view to reproducing them as outline drawings which would, Rix supposes, be cut on wood or made into zincographs to go in to the text. Asks for the selection as soon as Lankester can manage.</dc:description>
