Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Philip Henry Pye-Smith Encloses herewith a copy of the statement of Virchow's [Copley] medal claims [not attached] but Rix does not know that there is any object in correcting them as they will not be reprinted or published. For this reason the Society does not as a rule trouble the writers with proofs. All the same the proof ought to have been sent to Pye-Smith when he asked for it and Rix regrets this request was not complied with. 14 November 1892
