Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Arthur Smith Woodward Sends today the manuscript of Mr [John H] Cooke, an abstract of which Woodward had undertaken to furnish. If authors use diagrams to illustrate their papers at the meeting, such diagrams are made by the author, or furnished at his own expense. It sometimes saves the author trouble if he photographs the diagram in his paper and used them as slides in the lantern. 13 February 1893
