<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Registrar, University of London</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix has just received a telegram from the Senior Secretary, Professor Michael Foster, instructing him to apply for leave on behalf of the President and Council of the Royal Society, to use the theatre of the London University for the delivery of the Croonian Lecture at 4.30pm on the 17th. Rix trusts permission will be given as the number who have applied for tickets of admission is so large that the Society's meeting room will certainly not be big enough. It would be especially convenient if they could receive an answer by tomorrow so that the announcement of the arrangement can be made in this weeks 'Nature'.</dc:description>
