<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Harrisons</dc:title>
<dc:description>Concerning the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', Rix asks the Messrs to cancel the wrappers they are addressing to Lieutenant Colonel R Y Armstrong, War Office, as he is identical with Colonel Armstong, Junior United Service Club, Dr Bucknill's present address at Bournemouth should be cancelled. Rix asks the Messrs to especially notice the enclosed postcards with corrected addresses [not attached]. Sir Thiselton-Dyer is much vexed that the Messrs keep sending things for the Astronomer Royal to Kew, which is absurd and a match for the ridiculous mistake the Messrs recently made of addressing to Owen's College, Cambridge. Rix thinks the Messrs must have a competent clerk for this sort of work and not make the Royal Society a laughing stock.</dc:description>
