<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Joseph Norman Lockyer</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix is instructed by Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] to ask whether Lockyer is intending to make any alteration in his paper in consequnce of the suggestions of the referees, copies of which were sent to Lockyer some time since. Rayleigh was absent at the time the paper was discussed at Committee and Rix has not himself received any instructions about it. Rayleigh thinks the Society may proceed with the printing unless Lockyer is intending to adopt the suggestions of the referees.</dc:description>
