Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Harrison & Sons The accompanying paper by R W Stewart has to be printed for presentation as his thesis for the DSc degree by April 1st. Of course this cannot be done but it is hoped that a day or two's grace will be allowed him. Rix wonders what the earliest possible date is by which the Messrs can get the paper into type in 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' form. If it will take more than a week Rix asks to know by 4pm today, but in any case it should be started without delay. 29 March 1893
