<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Joseph Norman Lockyer</dc:title>
<dc:description>Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], has just put down Mr [Francis Cranmer] Penrose's paper for next week's reading. As this paper may possibly be published in 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', it will not do for Rix to set it up in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' form. They have no abstract for the paper and Rix wonders if Penrose is in England and what his address is. If Penrose is not in England Rix wonders if Lockyer might provide an abstract.</dc:description>
