Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Adjutant, Corps of Commissionaires, Exchange Court, 419 Strand Asks the Adjutant to send a commissionaire to assist at the Society's Soirée on 10th May by keeping the hall and checking the stream of people. Asks for a man with 'some decision of manner'. Last year the commissionaire failed to come at one of the Soirées and this put them to great inconvenience.
