Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr William Huggins, Fellow of the Royal Society The £50 which Huggins applied for to make additions to the Royal Society's telescope has been voted from the Society's own funds, and the £100 which was previously assigned from the Government Grant for other additions, will be refunded to that Grant, so that the telescope with additions may be entirely the property of the Society. 19 May 1893
