Lyon Esq., the Athenaeum, Pall Mall, SW1 Replies that no information can be given on John Gedde as he was not a fellow of the Royal Society. Informs that as a result, the Royal Society does not have a copy of 'the English Apiary'. Suggests the British Museum Library as they may have a copy of an earlier publication of Gedde's, 'Method of Bee-houses, 1675 with later additions.' 10 July 1928
