<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to John Whitaker Hulke, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
By a slip on the part of our Senior Secretary your name was included in the list of Board E as well as Board D ^of the Gov Grant Commee [Government Grant Committee]^. It is upon Board D. that you are appointed to serve. One of the cases considered at the Scientific Relief Committee last week was deferred, and this morning I have received an application in a fresh case. A Committee meeting should, therefore, be held sometime before the 22nd inst. [instant], the date of the next Council. Can you name a day and hour which will suit you? Four p.m. is the hour most generally convenient.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
