<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to General Walker, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
March the 8th is the Croonian Lecture, March the 15th is appointed for biological papers, and on March the 22nd there is no meeting. The first meeting at which your paper could be taken if it is not taken next Thursday would be April the 19th. To avoid this long delay I retain the paper on our list provisionally, and shall be glad to hear from you again whether you prefer next Thursday or April the 19th.
I am, yours faithfully,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
